Privacy Policy

This policy covers the website at caromarkbuildinggroup.com and describes what Caromark Building Group, LLC does with information you send through it. It does not cover information you give us in person, by telephone, or in the course of a construction contract.

What we collect

The only information this site asks you for is what you type into the estimate request form: your name, email address, telephone number (optional), the type of work you are enquiring about, and your message. The form also records the IP address the submission came from, which we use to limit automated abuse of the form.

We do not ask for, and the form has no field for, payment details, social security numbers, dates of birth, or insurance policy numbers. Please do not include them in the message field — if we need that kind of detail for a claim we will collect it directly, not through a web form.

What we do with it

• We read it and reply to you about your enquiry.
• It is emailed to the Caromark office.
• It is stored in the website's own database on the server that hosts this site.
• It is forwarded to the enquiry dashboard operated by our website provider, Idea Forge Studios LLC, so that enquiries are not lost if an email is missed.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for an estimate.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising or social-media tracking pixels. We use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use the site, for example which services pages are read most. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and your approximate location. It does not tell us who you are. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Who else is involved

• Idea Forge Studios LLC builds and hosts this website and operates the enquiry dashboard described above.
• SendGrid (Twilio Inc.) delivers the notification email that carries your enquiry to our office.
• Google LLC provides Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used, as described above.
• Cloudflare, Inc. delivers the website and protects it from abuse. Like any network provider it handles your IP address and browser details to serve the pages.

These providers process the information on our instructions in order to run the website. Where we work on an insurance claim for you, we will also exchange information with your insurer — but only as part of that claim, and only with your knowledge.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful to us as a record of a customer or a prospective job. If you would like your enquiry deleted, email [email protected] and tell us which one, and we will remove it from the website database and the enquiry dashboard.

Children

This website is aimed at property owners. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
