Caromark Building Group is a residential and commercial General Contractor in both North and South Carolina. Founded in 2007 by Bob Whiting with the vision of building and renovating homes, condominiums, townhomes and commercial projects for customers, Caromark’s focus is on personal service.  Our philosophy is to listen to our customer’s needs, perform the highest quality work possible and always at a fair price.  Our goal is to bring people’s dreams to reality therefore creating an environment where they enjoy the construction process and feel involved every step of the way. Bob holds the license for Caromark and has over 30 years in the construction industry.   Bob is also a licensed insurance adjuster and can assist clients with any insurance claims on their home.

Our director of operations, Dara Whiting, joined Bob in the building business after leaving the banking industry in 2009.  She brings a diverse background in change management, process improvement and client relationships.  In addition to her banking background, Dara has extensive experience in interior design and assists many of our customers in selecting their design selections, from paint colors to complete design selections, Dara is always willing to assist in whatever capacity our customers desire.
